The changing of the seasons is a spectacular event to witness around Niagara Falls, be it Spring or Fall.
It happens once
a year and each year is different from the previous one. Autumn in Niagara has it's
own beauty and creates vibrant colours throughout the landscape. Frost and cold temperatures cause the leaves to change in colour. The days are still warm and sunny. In most years, the winter winds come and blow the leaves from the trees leaving them bare, ushering in the winter season. |
Autumn means harvest season in Niagara's fruit belt. Apples, grapes, peaches and pears are
available July through September. The Niagara region is famous for wine making and vineyards. |
