Chippawa - Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada Chippawa,
Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
Welcome to Chippawa, a small town which has become part of the greater city of Niagara Falls.
Chippawa is located about 5km from the Falls itself, a 15 minute bicycle ride if you follow the
Upper Niagara River Recreation Trail to King's Bridge park.
A paved sidewalk from Chippawa all the way to the brink of the Falls.
The Chippawa Creek runs through the center of town.
Niagara Falls is a provincial park which includes much more than the Falls itself.
The Niagara parkway runs from Niagara on the lake to Queenston, to Niagara Falls, to Chippawa,
to Stevensville, and to Fort Erie. The Niagara River waterfront is all parkland open for
the public to enjoy. Chippawa's waterfront includes Kings Bridge Park where you will find a
walk across bridge over the Chippawa creek, part of the Upper Niagara River Recreation Trail.
The Niagara Parks Commission maintains all the park land from Niagara on the Lake to Fort Erie.

Chippawa has it's own unique flavour, and if you're visitor to the area, enjoy a walk through Chippawa.
There you'll find some great places to eat along the waterfront. And a great place to
spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon on a sunny day. Bring a lawn chair and a blanket
and sit on the shores of the creek.
The local kids still jump off the town bridge. People float down the creek in inner tubes,
others cool off on it's shores. A great place for car shows and a popular place to show
off your motorcycle. On week-ends in the summer there's plenty of chrome cruising the streets
from the parkway on down. Kings Bridge park offers an awesome view of the Fireworks over Niagara Falls.
