Sir Adam Beck Hydroelectric Power Station -
Canadian side
both bypass the Falls at Niagara but reroute the Niagara river water from the Falls to the generating stations. Large gates control the amount of water which is diverted, that is why the Falls at Niagara have less flow at night as compared to the day. |
