Located north 4.5 km.(3 miles) down-river from the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
The Whirlpool Aero Car Ride has been providing spectacular views of the Whirlpool Rapids and the Niagara Gorge since 1916. |
Suspended by six cables, stretching more than half a kilometer across, the
Aerocar is truly a remarkable feat of ingenuity. The cable car's capacity
is 35 standing adults.

The Aero Car is suspended above
the Niagara Whirlpool Rapids. Here, the Niagara
River makes a 90 degree bend, which combined with the
rapid water flow, causes
a whirlpool effect hence the name Niagara Whirlpool Rapids.
Another popular name for this
stretch of the Niagara river is the Devil's Hole,
a popular place for
hiking and fishing.
